About Grange

Grange is one of the largest parishes in Banffshire (around 15,000 acres) and has a population of over 1000 (estimate).


Crossroads Primary School caters for pupils from Primary 1 to Primary 7.  Older pupils attend Keith Grammar School.  Both schools have active parent councils.  For more information, visit the Keith Area Parent Councils site.


There are three hills in Grange, two small ones named the Lurghill and the hill of Aultmore, the larger one is named the Knock. Grange is boarded by three rivers; the Isla, Aultmore Burn, and Shiel Burn.


Grange church was built in 1795. It holds up to 300 worshipers; 200 on ground floor and 100 in gallery. Built on the site of a tower house built by Abbot Thomas of Kinloss Abbey.  Contact information, times of worship etc.
